Rikugi-en lions
I watched a traditional Japanese lion dance thingy at the Rikugi-en gardens in Tokyo. The lions seem to enjoy biting the heads of small children who promptly started screaming.
Meija shrine
I saw a massive swathe of people walking along a pathway in Tokyo. After a slow 30 min walk, I ended up at the Meija shrine.
Shanghai
I had a brief stopover in Shanghai enroute to Japan. They had some of the best airport food I’ve ever tried!
Rikugi-en gardens
The Rikugi-en gardens is a beautiful part of Tokyo city and well worth visiting if you are in the area.
Chilling out in Singapore
I’m currently blobbing out at Changi airport in Singapore en route to Norway. This is definitely the most pleasant short-term stopover I’ve ever experienced. The whole airport is just “nice”.
